June 26, 1998 - Marysville, KS, Landoll Corporation announced today that they have earned ISO 9001 Certification. This certification is awarded in recognition of Landoll's strict adherence to international standards for quality and design control in the development and manufacture of its products. The presentation from Intertek Services was preceded by an independent audit. Intertek is America's first accredited registrar (accredited by RvA and ANSI-RAB) and is an affiliate company of Intertek Testing Services (ITS), the world's largest industrial testing and certification company.

The ISO 9000 series of standards is issued by the International Organization for Standardization and refers to the collective series of quality standards. Landoll's Certification assures customers, around the world, that a comprehensive quality system is in place to prevent and detect non-conformity during product design, production and installation.

Don Landoll, Chairman, referred to the company's original slogan, "Remember: Quality Is Always a Bargain" and commented "Landoll Corporation is committed to supplying our customers with the most consistent product with the best value available." Landoll's President, Arwayne Peters, added "This certification is a significant testimonial to the excellence of our quality system at Landoll Corporation. It serves as a starting point for continuing improvement of our overall technical and management processes. It's important that this ongoing improvement process is done with our customers in mind and we are pleased to join nearly 20,000 U.S. organizations who have received ISO 9001 Certification, to date." The third-party auditors examined such areas as management commitment, design control, process control, documentation, purchasing, test and inspection, training, corrective and preventative action procedures, all the way through to delivery and service.
