Two sets of aluminum ramps are included the low load angle needed for the long overhangs and low clearance seen on many buses today. Landoll has built into the wheel wells a mechanical well lift system which is adjustable to various load carrying heights. This adjustment is needed for different buses have different clearance problems on the underside. The Model 353 is designed with no cylinders on the undercarriage travel reducing the overall height of the deck. The undercarriage cam bearings roll on top of the flange which eliminates any damage to the trailer frame.

Marysville, Kansas - Landoll Corporation, an equipment transport trailer manufacturer has selected Kar-Tech Inc of Delafield, WI as their vendor to supply the wireless remote controls for 2008 model year Traveling Axle, Traveling Tail and Container trailers.
Kar-Tech will supply their Mini series wireless remote controls. Installed at the Landoll Corporation factory, the wireless remote controls three hydraulic valve spools or six complete functions. In most cases the wireless remote controls hydraulic movement of the traveling undercarriage, the winch and the trailer tilting deck. Landoll operators can enjoy the flexibility to have full hydraulic operation of their trailer at a safe working distance as well as increasing the driver efficiency to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
The Mini series adds reliability. High quality sealed membrane switches are used on the handheld transmitter that fits in the palm of your hand. The trailer mounted receiver unit also is compact and is totally sealed and protected from the elements of winter weather. Kar-Tech has built in safety measures when there are other products in the area using the same frequencies. This is due to its 900MHz FHSS technology. Another feature is that the Mini will conduct self-diagnostics including notifying the operator of any shorted or open wires. Reverse polarity, short-circuit and overload protections are all standard features.

This full width steel ramp is easily lowered and raised by the assistance of the specially designed internal spring system. The ramp can be raised by a single man or raised by the hand winch that is supplied as standard equipment. The 835 has up to 30 feet of useable lower deck space allowing for even the largest of pavers to be fully place on the lower deck which has an 18.5 loaded deck height. MARYSVILLE, KANSAS (May 23, 2006)--Landoll Corporation announces another addition to its already expansive manufacturing facility. The new addition is comprised of 75,000 square feet which features a prep booth, two powder coat paint booths 60 long, and a large natural gas powered baking oven which can accommodate three large trailer frames. Landoll is the only trailer manufacturer to offer powder coat paint on an entire large trailer frame as a standard feature. The benefits of powder coat include a uniform, durable, high-quality, and attractive finish. The result is a smooth, consistent durable exterior finish, which is more resistant to the salt and chemicals used on winter roads. Six standard colors are available with options for special color requests.
The powder paint process begins with surface preparation, which is done in a 400º oven to help purge the oils and other contaminants found on raw steel. Then, the frame is transferred via a large overhead hoist to the shot blast booth. Steel shot blasting prepares the metal even further for paint preparation removing any rust, paint or mill scale typically found with the manufacturing process leaving the metal smooth and ready for the powder coat application.
The frame is transferred to the paint booth where the TGIC polyester powder coat is applied approximately 4 mils thick while the frame is being rotated 360º ensuring even and complete coverage. At that point, the frame is then moved to the baking oven where up to three large frames are baked simultaneously for approximately 1-1/2 hours.
Landoll Corporation is a leading manufacturer of equipment transport trailers from 5 to 60 ton capacity. This new facility allows Landoll to offer standard feature of powder coat paint on all trailers they manufacture.
MARYSVILLE, KANSAS (June 1, 2006) Landoll Corporations Trailer Division announces a new option that will be available for all trailers equipped with air brakes. Pressure Guard tire inflation system manufactured by Reineke Company has been selected as the supplier. Trailers equipped with the optional tire inflation systems will overcome small leaks normally attributed to road hazards, such as nails or small metallic debris. Without a tire inflation system, these leaks would result in an abnormal pressure drop or a run-flat tire. Both situations create a hazardous condition, which can lead to blowouts, breakdown, costly repairs and unanticipated delays in delivery.
The tire inflation system supplies air from the onboard compressor to the leaking tire to keep it inflated during operation. Optional warning lights will alert drivers that they have a tire with a leak. The leaking tire can be isolated and repaired. This prevents damage to the casing, tread, or in the event of a blowout, to other vehicles on the road. Overall, the Pressure Guard system will help minimize tire costs.

MARYSVILLE, KANSAS (June 19, 2006) Recently added to a long list of available options for Landoll trailers, is a centralized lube system. The lube or grease system consists of an aluminum block mounted on the undercarriage of the trailer at the back bumper. The lube system has as many grease zerks as are needed to individually lube the moving parts of the undercarriage of the trailer equipped with the centralized lube option. With its easily accessible location, the mechanic can service or grease all points of the trailer from one location. The centralized lube system, which is manufactured by Landoll to ensure a perfect fit, greases everything including the slack adjuster, s-cam bearings and cam follower rollers. The benefits of the lube system include less downtime, maintenance and fewer repairs due to seizures.
